Do you guys think my marriage proposal was romantic? Tell me about yours?
We both work together as managers at a massive retail complex we run different sections so we hardly ever run into each other throughout the day! I was receiving an order when i heard my then boyfriend call over the P/A system for me to come to isle 10 which was very normal! When i got there he was down the other end of the isle as he walked down to meet he lent down opened a box to the most beautiful diamond ring and asked me to marry him over the P/A system! I obviously said YES!! And all the staff and customers clapped and cheered 
we both got to take the rest of the day off to!! He chose isle 10 as it was where we met and had our first conversation!!!

Okay, that's adorable! Especially how he remembered which isle you first met in. Awww. Guys like that make me smile.
As for me, well, my proposal wasn't significantly romantic, per say, but, of course, I wouldn't change the way my husband proposed to me for the world.
I remember I was having a REALLY bad day. I had terrible cramps, my boss had yelled at me at work, and I was pissed off because I had a pimple coming in, haha. So I called my then-boyfriend from our apartment and complained to him about how much I hated my life in that moment and how ugly and bloated and blah I felt. Well, he ended up leaving his work early so he could pick me up some ice cream and flowers. He walked in and kissed my forehead, and before I could even say hi, he was down on his knee and pulling out the ring. The only thing I could say was that he better not propose while I looked like this, but he just told me how beautiful I am to him and a bunch of other words that are to this day the nicest things anyone has ever said to me. I think it was Marilyn Monroe who said, "If you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best." This is to this day what I love the absolute most about my husband, and that's why I'll always treasure the way he proposed.
I know it wasn't romantic, like, at all, but it just fit us so perfectly. I wouldn't have liked a public proposal, or a super overdone, cheesy one. But I later learned that he got the ring a month after we started dating, and that he had driven over to my parents' house one afternoon after work to ask my dad for his blessing, so I feel like it still had that genuine traditional romace to it, in a way.
Telling this story always reminds me how much I love that man
