What can I do about my horrible touch-up paint job?
I had a lot of little scratches on the front end of my Firebird and recently bought a 2oz bottle of touch up paint for it. It's the correct color, I got it from the dealer and everything. When I put it on my car it came out way darker than my color on there now. Since it's a big patch, you can really notice. My car is not garage kept so the original color may have faded. But what should I do? It's just as noticable as the scatches were. Should I put clearcoat on it? Or should I wait for it to dry so more (I just applied it about 45 minutes ago)? Please help! I love my car!
Sound like your car has two coat of paint ( base coat and clear coat) You can paint clear coat make it look good if you have pro painter help you or go to auto part and buy Mother bluffing product. That should make it look better
